And for those of us who might not have enough time to create a plastic bag craft, you still can recycle plastic bags at your local grocery store. The materials you take in must have been cleaned and dried.
Fun Fact: Most large scale grocery stores collect and recycle your plastic bags for you!

Another useful tidbit is that many UPS and other package shipping locations will reuse and recycle plastic (and other) shipping materials.
Even when you forget to bring your own reusable shopping bag when you go to the grocery store and you have the option between paper bags and plastic bags, always choose paper; but if can only get the plastic bags, you can still apply the Re- Motto, by reusing the bags or recycling them properly.
